Funny as this thing is, does it say something that is actually true in some cases?

It's sad that it probably applies to a significant percentage of graduates.

At least it is not written in Latin, like my sister's degree in I'm-so-smartology.

Oh, LOL! If you had one of these, I would have wanted to know where to buy one. It would be a hoot to have it on the wall by my desk beside my other degrees.

I wonder if any of us really learned anything with undergrad studies. I'm the same as you, I don't think I learned a thing.

I learned that in the "real world" red tape is more important than knowledge and skills. What can be more valuable than that? :yup:

My Aspen University MSIT Diploma should have been like this.

Hmm. I mostly tested out of my Bachelor's, at least once I went back to school to finish up. But even though I didn't learn anything, as such, it was still worth it to get that piece of paper, so I don't feel ripped off. :)

I must dispute this assertion. "Sucking up" is more valuable than any knowledge or skillset!!

I must be a rare bird. My undergraduate experience was amazing, and I learned a tremendous amount. The most enduring lessons, however, were not fact-based but worldview-focused. I learned in multiple ways how to challenge my own assumptions and to recognize the assumptions in others' positions. I didn't always draw the same conclusions as my classmates or my professors, but the philosophical, theological, and historical elements of my education have effects on my daily living. It was probably the best 3 1/2 years of my life so far.

It must be the distinctive plumage that gave me away.

To satisfy the computer science requirement, I took a course in Excel, with which I had no prior experience at all. It came in very handy when I was the union treasurer, and would compile a spreadsheet of revenue and expenditures each month for dissemination at the next union meeting, so I definitely learned at least one useful thing in my undergrad program.

The funny thing is that I tested out of most of the last portion of my bachelors (last 50 credits) but I actually learned quite a bit from it. I took it seriously and attempted to ace every CLEP/DSST and other exam or online course I took. Then when I completed my second bachelors I did the same. Ditto for the MBA. I guess it is all in what you put into it.
I was especially diligent with the CLEP/DSST tests. I wanted to make sure that I really understood the material in my BSBA so that my MBA course work would be easier and for personal growth reasons.
So when I look at my diplomas I feel like I did learn a lot.

You are to be congratulated on being such a good undergrad student. You are far above the average, I would wager.
