Earlier someone mentioned taking the U of L Bachelor of Laws course via distance. However the U of L external programme site said the following "The Diploma can only be studied by those of you who are in attendance at an institution which has been awarded Diploma-teaching status by the University of London. At present there are Diploma-teaching institutions in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Bangladesh, Germany, Malaysia, Pakistan and Singapore." The Diploma in Laws is the prerequisite for those without a prior degree. Anyway around this?
This is not true. Return to the site and look under admissions requirements. The Diploma is absolutely NOT required for the LLB. You will also note there are several paths to entrance to any degree. Christian
It was I who referred you to U of L External LLB degree program. You don't need a diploma or a degree for admission. If you do have a degree, however, you can complete the LLB pgm in as little as 2 years. I'd recommend that you re-visit the website and review the admission requirements. You can also request some LLB information through their website. Again...best of luck to you.
