Long-time users will recall I enrolled in the distance MBA at BTH, Sweden, years ago

MBA programme Part time - Blekinge Institute of Technology

and later the distance MS in health science at Kristianstad University College

Master Programme Integrative Health Science - Högskolan Kristianstad - kunskap utbildning program fristående kurser högskolestudier utlandsstudier forskning

Until this year, all education in Sweden was tuition free for everyone, which made these programs very attractive. Beginning this year tuition at about US $15000 per year is charged for non-EU students except Swiss and refugees.

For those still interested in Sweden, I will review how to find programs.

Unfortunately, the database no longer sorts out distance programs, so one must examine each individual program to determine if it is a distance program.

Don't bother filtering for "internet" or "distance". Nothing comes up.

It seems to me that most of the distance masters programs are offered by högskolas rather than regular universities so you might search these first. In the Swedish database, however, högskolas (except BTH) are termed "universities". Here's a list of the högskolas:

    University of Borås
    Malmö University
    Dalarna University
    University West
    Halmstad University
    Mälardalen University
    Blekinge Institute of Technology
    Kristianstad University
    Skövde University
    Gävle University
    Gotland University

Here's a general rule: the more specialized or esoteric a degree program name, the more likely it is to be offered as a distance program.

Frankly, using this search engine is so useless for finding distance programs, that I think it is just as efficient to go to each university's site and search for "distance' or "internet" and "masters"

Here's some distance maser's degrees in English I found (in addition to the two above)

I quit the MBA program after one year (it was a two year, half-time program). Too boring and my job moved me out of finance and administration.

I'm in the middle of the second year of the MS in health science. The increased fees were not applied to students already enrolled in a program.
