My computer science final exam has to be proctored. In searching for a proctor, I found a great resource:

    Find a Proctor

This website is meant for UNC students, so the database is more complete in the Southeast. For example, I found a lot of sites around Atlanta, but only one in Chicago and none in St. Louis. Still, if you're anywhere in the US, it's worth checking it.

There's a lot of general information on proctors and proctoring on that website, too.

Thanks GeeBee. I may lose my proctor next year so I looked on that site and they have a place in west Houston near me. Thanks again for the info.

When I needed a proctor I went to the local public library. It was especially convenient that at that time I live right next door to the local public library. It seemed they were familiar with proctoring and were very helpful. The price was right too (no charge).

That's cool. I used to take all my proctored exams at a local library, but after a few years they stopped doing it. So I went to my local CC, and had the test mailed to them. No problem.

When I needed a proctor (or CLEP exam), I went to the testing center at UMass-Boston. No hassles, and only a $25 proctoring fee (that was many years ago, so it's likely gone up).
