I was wondering if anyone had done the online MEd in Educational Tech offered by the UT online consortium while also going for another master's and applying transfer hours.
This particular program has 24 core hours plus 12 electives.

Here's a few of the Q&A from their page:
What types of courses can be used to fulfill the 12 hours of electives in the degree plan?
Students can either take Educational Technology Online electives or they can transfer credits from other universities (graduate advisor approval required).

Students can either take Educational Technology Online electives or they can transfer credits from other universities (graduate advisor approval required). Students can use these electives to customize their degrees to meet personal and professional goals. Electives can be in subject areas other than educational technology, such as English, math or science.

Can courses from a previous Master's degree apply toward this degree?
You are allowed to transfer up to 9 semester hours from an existing Masters degree into the Educational Technology Program with approval from your advisor. These courses must have been taken from an accredited university within the past seven years in order to be considered.

What interests me is on their graduate program of study you have to complete you can include 12 transfer hours but if this is your second master's degree, a max of 9 hours can be used. So in theory you can be on the tail end of one program and start this one to apply 12 hours?

Texas residents can qualify for the graduate tuition incentive scholarship that pays 3 hours per semester and 6 hours their first semester. That really makes it attractive.
