    Randell,

    A $54K program (e.g., 3-yrs. @ $18K /year x 3-yrs.) to be exact; and yes you’re correct … UNACCREDITED. Oh brother …

P.S. Or $36,000 for 36 months of study with a “Scholarship of Merit”. E.g., “Applicants holding first class honors with a CGPA of 3.9 or above at either Master or Doctoral level may be eligible to obtain a “Scholarship of Merit”.” STILL an Oh brother … :speechless:

    It appears you are.

I guess this is for the "more money than brains" crowd, I don't know how else to explain it.

    Okay, this is hilarious:

Dr. Nadine Wheat, Ph.D., MBA | ITTL Doctoral Research Center & University, LLC

FMU is now known as Everest, and is a for-profit accredited by ACICS owned by Corinthian. In other words, she was an adjunct there and there was some sort of one-off in-service training, and is trying to make it sound like it's some sort of fellowship or something. I understand that people try to showcase their credentials and experiences in the best possible light, but that is one seriously dizzying level of spin.

I completed that training (I have even conducted the training) and have never thought of listing it as "Postdoctoral Training". Maybe I can spruce up my CV by listing "Postdoctoral Training - Angel and eCollege"

Oh no, I think specificity is bad here. Better something like "Postdoctoral Training in Educational Technology". Absolutely, positively, 100% true -- yet hopelessly misleading.

An MBA in Entrepreneurship at ITTL in 90 days or less

ONE WEEK of class time - total.
ONE WRITTEN PROJECT over the next 3 mos: 10,000 to 12,000 words.
THAT'S IT. Then you get your degree.

Yes, Randell - I think I have this place "figured out." It wasn't hard... Thanks...

If you put their lingo, without even using the 5 day MBA stuff, in to google you come up with a ton of 5 day "programmes." Supposedly based in CA but with European spellings....

    Also kinda strange....

They say they're basically a California-registered (unaccredited) private university, yet their admin. office is in Arizona.

I know that Newport International U. used to be a Wyoming school with a California admin. address, to which it retreated entirely when it lost its suit against Wyoming over the State's "accredit-or-leave" law.

Also, American Century, which used to be a "grandfathered" New Mexico unaccred. as "Century U." now has two new California "branch campuses" besides the New Mexico location. Still showing its New Mexico licenses but uh-oh, they're EXPIRED!

Breyer State - out of Idaho and Alabama, now in California, still seeking BPPE Approval for over a year, per its website. Doesn't the owner reside in Ohio? I think so, but there's a new President, so...

Oh dear, ITTL -- do I see a trend here in "dual-state unaccreds?"

That's the beauty of Google - the universal time-waster. With enough time, Google can make research specialists out of monkeys! Maybe Google U. will grant me a research-only Ph.D! Or how about a Bachelor's - ITunes U or Master's, Youtube University to start with?

PS - I'd hate to think all those other "5 day programmes" (Euro-spelling) resulted in DEGREES!

screighton: "here is a visual of their listed address."

John: So what's your problem? It's a very nice two-car garage.

It looks to me that they want to make it look as a expensive degree so it looks prestigious but the few students that might register there would actually pay one third or less of that price.

It is like those companies that put a very high price in their web site so when the salesperson calls you and gives it to you at half price, you buy it just because is a bargain.

This is a strategy used by many to detract attention from their PhD that might come from a unkwnown or not very prestigious school. Let's say I finished my PhD at Dotcom University (DU) but now take an online certificate at Stanford so now I can say "PhD DU, Post Doc Stanford". Most people would look at the Post Doc thinking that this is the terminal degree.

Most of their faculty has degrees from non prestigious places, what makes the price also look ridiculous.

Hmm... looks like a nice area.

Also, I'm pretty sure colleges and universities (at least in the US) use .edu, not .org--if there are, I can't think of any...

No thanks! I'd much rather stick to an accredited institution.

I'm sure we'd agree the price is ridiculous even if they all went to top schools. After all, they would have, but you still wouldn't be.

Yea the price is wayyyy high...

But after looking at Lloyd Williams' bio, I tend to think this is not a mill, but a start-up university. Thoughts?
