I am looking for a graduate level iPhone development course that starts ASAP.
The ones I have found so far don't start until next spring or Fall 2012.

This is a problem for universities that want to compete in the world of software development training. I need to learn iPhone dev but would like to get graduate credit for doing so.

We are in the middle of the fall semester/quarter. You are likely not going to find anything that starts until the Spring. One option is Harvard Extension School's CSCI-E-76 "Building Mobile Applications". The course starts in the Spring. However, all of the videos, course notes, and homework for the Spring 2011 class are available online for free at cs76.tv.

If you want, you could go through the course on your own now, then take the course formally in the Spring for credit. It is likely that the homework won't have changed much and you could submit the work you did in the fall (with a little modification) for the Spring semester.

The course is $1950 for 4 credits. Be aware though. It is considered a fairly intensive and workload heavy course.

    Thanks for the info.
I just think its a failing of the old fashioned education system. I would prefer monthly start dates for online courses or even weekly like they have at NCU.

I do like that it is a heavy workload course. Hopefully it is practical hands on development and not theory. The only way to learn how to build software is to write thousands of lines of code in a language so that is what I would do if I were to learn Objective-C and iPhone development.
