I do believe that Azteca, at least, is a close cousin to UNEM and quite possibly a not so distant relative of MIGS.

There were few concerns about Azteca. It might be accredited in Mexico but not everything that is accredited in this country would work for people in the US and Europe.

In the case of the US, you would need a foreign credential evaluator's blessing like WES. I personally tried to pre evaluate Azteca and it was not listed as a "recognized" Mexican school. Notice that "recognized" and "accredited" is not the same as far as WES is concerned, they look at things such as reputation, acceptance, etc before tagging a school as "recognized".

In the case of Europe, you would need check with your prospect employer and see what you would need to provide to get Azteca accepted.

I don't know Azteca but if price is a concern, I would go with a more accepted school like UNISA in SA. A PhD from UNISA would pass with flying colors any test of recognition because their are members of the association of commonwealth universities.

There has been more than a little conversation about this entity. If you'll plug it into the search function you'll find some lengthy threads on the topic of Azteca.

Since you are German you might just clear that issue with your local foreign degree accreditation agency Anabin Homepage
Looks like Universidad Central de Nicaragua is actually listed as fully accredited while Universidad Azteca did not make the list. But I would personally be very careful about earning degrees from countries that are notorious for their corrupted "system".
