Need a good University for MS in Accounting

Dear Friends,

For sometime I have been looking for a good university for an online Masters degree in Accounting.

I don't want a degree from for-profit universities like UoP or Kaplan. I need a degree from a reputable, accredited, public university in the States or in UK. I'm not living in the States or in UK, so I need a university that accepts international students.

I really need your recommendations.

Thank you so much for these links that let me reach to many schools and programs.

But at the end, after checking all of them, I'm so much disappointed as I cannot apply to any of them...

My disadvantages are:

- International student, don't have GMAT.
- My GPA is 2,83 as most schools require 3.00
- As my native language is not English, I need to take TOEFL exam.
- I'm not an Accounting graduate, I'm holding a BS in Economis degree. Therefore, some schools require me take many courses on accounting and business before applying for the masters program.

I don't know what I should do. It seems my only option is those for-profit schools...

 

Then just take the GMAT

GPA isn't the only factor as regards admittance

Then take the TOEFL

Taking additional accounting courses could be favorable to you if later you decide to pursue the CPA designation.

In case you are an EU citizen you might better try UK schools. For EU citizens their tuition rates are quite affordable and usually don't have that testing-mania like many US schools, i.e. won't require a GMAT.
