You would think a school such as Stanford University would have their act together when it comes to their online courses. I have taken four so far, and have *just* completed an online test.

Now, it reports back that I missed two questions out of fifty-six. Great, except it tells me which ones I missed, and when I refer back to my Stanford-produced course book, I see I indeed got these two multiple-choice questions right. There is absolutely no doubt according to their materials that I chose the right answer. But it reports I missed the questions.

All the high-and-mighty talk about quality of instruction versus B&M verses DL vs. elite universities vs. the COSC/TESC/etc of this world and even a school like Stanford fucks up their own online courses.

Seems the editor to delete Kajidoro's poor French isn't functioning.

I think the administrators have more important things to deal with, i.e., spam attacks against this board, than editing single words that offend your precious little eyes.

It was mentioned in another thread that the "profanity editor" is disabled.

My personal opinion is that we're all adults here, and can judiciously choose when such words are appropriate (which usually isn't too often).
