Hi, I am a Danish citizen and I was wondering if there are any online universities in the EU that offer degrees and degree completion in English. I know that most EU countries have free post-secondary education. I am both a US/EU citizen and am about to receive a US degree.
Probably the best known European DL school is the Open University (UK) followed by the University of London.
Since you are already (somewhat) Scandinavian, Sweden is the way to go. No tuition (esp since they limited this recently down to only EU citizens), lots of courses in English, and at least a few full degrees that can be finished completely online. Check out http://www.studera.nu and limit under the advanced options the search engine to distance learning only.
I might have mild leanings that way, but there's a whole lot of "it depends" in there. For example, I'd rather do a doctorate through Fielding or Saybrook before one from the lower tiers of UK universities. And I wouldn't trade my Bachelor's from Charter Oak State College, which is an all online school, for one from any but the most well regarded British schools.
