    Hello, everyone,
I have received my academic eval from TESC and need help. I applied for the BSAST in Electronic Engineering Technology but was surprised to see that they are offering me more credits towards every other degree program. I simply want to complete a bachelors degree as fast as possible with the most decent major.

I am a recently discharged military veteran. I plan to finish a bachelors degree and apply to re-enter the military as an officer.

My question is, which degree from TESC would be easiest for me to fill in needed credits from my local University of Phoenix and CLEP/DANTES exams? I see they both have criminal justice degrees. And UoP has a ton of electronics courses, I'm assuming they'd fill the gaps on one of the TESC electronics degrees.

I have missed the deadlines for the local community college and university so I will have to take courses through the University of Phoenix, I will take my last 18 hrs through TESC as required. I would just take them all through TESC, but I need to physically attend at least one course to receive parts of the GI Bill, so I will be attending UoP.

Below is the unofficial transcript showing all of the courses they accepted from my previous schools and military experience. In the next post I will show what it looks like in the criminal justice degree program just as an example.

Thank you all in advance for any help you can offer.

Yes, Sir, I am aware that UoP isn't great. But as I have stated, I have missed the deadlines for the rest of the brick and mortar schools in my area. I must physically attend at least one course for the school I take classes from because I am using the POST 9/11 GI BILL and in order to receive the housing stipend I must physically attend a class, and all classes must be through the same school. So until I have only the final 18hrs to go, as required by TESC, I must physically attend classes in my area.

Yea, I see your point. There are plenty of good online schools that are cheaper and more respected than UoP, but there are not many where you can attend a class in person and also go online. Liberty, where I'm working on a doctorate, does offer that potential. It's much cheaper and it's respected more highly, especially in Christian circles. However, you have to go to Virginia to attend a class. I just got back from Virginia to attend a class at Liberty and it was a fantastic experience, but it was a long way to travel.

Is this really a TESC requirement? The last time I looked there was no such requirement (unless maybe for certain degrees).

What city or state do you reside in? Perhaps there are alternates to the UoP.

For the MDCP (Military Degree Completion Program) it is a requirement. TESC gives very good Active Duty and Veteran benefits within the program.
