PHD in English Literature

    One of my friend is looking for PHD in English Literature programs. Any advice for this?

    You have slim pickings in the US. Texas Tech has a PhD in Technical Communication and Old Dominion has the option listed above. As far as I know, this is about all in the US. You would be best served looking outside the US, such as South Africa, Australia, or the UK.

    If your friend is a school teacher (or otherwise gets summers off), Indiana University of Pennsylvania offers a five summer PhD in English.
