Top 3 Online Universities - Information Technology

    What are your top 3 online universities for a B.S. in Information Technology?

    Must possess regional and national accreditations.

    Cost is not a factor, but must be 100% online.

    With the caveat that places with regional accreditation do not need national accreditation as they are all certified by their local state education boards..

    1. Carnegie Mellon University.
    2. Harvard University Extension School
    3. Pennsylvania State University Online

    In terms of purely online schools WGU gets an honorable mention, but I would not have gone there if these options had been available to me in 2003

    Once they have RA, having NA is irrelevant.

    Carnegie Mellon would be your best bet. Harvard, even through the extension school I believe you still have to attend a summer session in Bahston would be up there but maybe not. Check out the USNews listing of best IT programs (Harvard does not make the top 12) and then check the top 10 programs to see if they offer DL programs.

    IT? Or do you mean Computer Science. Which one?
