I will have to see that to believe it.

"A state law that went into effect this year is intended to encourage transfer students to take 60 units at a community college and the remaining 60 units within the CSU system. Community college officials say that will save the system $160 million a year. So far, for example, the systems have agreed to simplify transfer requirements for a bachelor's degree program in communications studies as well as a few other majors."

Colorado State did this a couple years ago. It is hard to understand how things ever got fragmented, but it seems they do as the state schools, for reasons I don't understand, really look down on the community colleges. In the Colorado system they now have this, and it puts a lot of requirements on the CC concerning what books they use and what the course objectives are. In my technology course I have to use the same textbook and use the same tests as Colorado State as part of them accepting the associates degree as the first two years in their BA/S programs.
