Apparently the principal of a small private high school, as well as the state agencies charged with investigating inappropriate behaviors, is coming under fire.

First there were accusations that this principal repeatedly inappropriately touched elementary school girls in his care. One employee who recently retired claimed to have a notebook in which she meticulously documented her observations after repeated complaints and requests for an investigation went unheeded.

But today, new information has surfaced bringing into question the credentials the principal claims to have. Among other things, he claims to have a degree and teaching credential through the University of Beverly Hills, a long-defunct and unaccredited school offering "life experience" degrees. He also claims to have teaching credentials which the schools he claimed to have attended have no record of his earning.

It amazes me when people responsible for our childrens' education can't even be honest about their own educational credentials.

That doesn't amaze me at all. What amazes me is the people charged with SELECTING those people responsible for our children's education don't do thorough due diligence when evaluating credentials.
