Any luck with online tutors for computer science?

I am a seasoned programmer but am taking a computer architecture class at TESC next month and the material is pretty low-level. It also deals with some discrete math that I am moderately familiar with.
So I would like to have a helping hand while doing homework assignments since the class is fully online and I am assuming I have no one to turn to for questions.

Has anyone used online tutoring? I posted locally on craigslist for a computer science tutor but in case that turns up nothing, I'd like to have a viable online option. Hopefully this person could speak English well and could help me understand some of the more difficult topics.
