need complete degree fast, have enough credits
Hi,
I need to get bachelor degree, I have enough credits but can't finish at my schools by catching the date (end september). Can I get the bachelor degree in two months and where? I have transcript...
need I something more? -
Your question isn't exactly clear, but I'm thinking your difficulty lies in the fact that you need to have a degree in hand on a certain date in September, but your school will not confer your degree until sometime after this date. I can't think of anyone who not temporarily accept a transcript showing all work needed for a degree completed in lieu of an actual diploma. Instead of trying to transfer to another school, you might want to speak with whoever it is that needs your degree and explaining your circumstances.
If you're hellbent on transferring, though, TESC and Athabasca are basically your only options for an RA degree completely by transfer. COSC now requires two courses, IDS 101 and your program's capstone, to be completed in residence. Excelsior has the information literacy requirement. TESC requires 120 hours and about $3K in fees. Athabasca offers a 3-year BGS that only requires 90 hours (45 of which must be upper-division) and ~$200 CAD in fees. Of course, there is no guarantee that either school will be able to actually issue your degree before September.

yes
yes, this is my problem. my university awards me the degree, but later and I need it now.
I've checked the excelsior and they can't reach my schedule. I don't know how to do it.
One another possibility for me is to take some classes and get the master diploma? Is this possible even I haven't the bachelor yet? I'd take the courses needed but I don't know where. What I need is master of education or something like that (I have been teaching now). | | | | | Education Degrees | Education Degrees
Teachers play an important role in fostering the intellectual and social development of children during their formative years. The education that students acquire is key to determining the future of those students. Whether in elementary or high schools or in private or public schools, teachers provide the tools and the environment for their students to develop into responsible adults.
Teachers act as facilitators or coaches, using classroom presentations or individual instruction to help students learn and apply concepts in subjects such as science, mathematics, and English. They plan, evaluate, and assign lessons; prepare, administer, and grade tests; listen to oral presentations; and maintain classroom discipline. Teachers observe and evaluate a student's performance and potential. They are increasingly asked to use new assessment methods
•Public school teachers must be licensed, which typically requires a bachelor's degree and the completion of an approved teacher education program; private school teachers do not have to be licensed but may still need a bachelor's degree.
•Job prospects are best for teachers in high-demand fields, such as mathematics, science, and bilingual education, and in less desirable urban or rural school districts.
•Teachers must have the ability to communicate, inspire trust and confidence, and motivate students, as well as understand students' educational and emotional needs. | | | | | | Similar Threads -
