Is this the first non-English distance degree with US accreditation?

DETC has accredited the wonderfully-named Babel University in Tokyo, which offers its distance MS degree only in the Japanese language. I can't think of any other not-in-English degree program with US accreditation.*

*No, Lawrie, the Heriot-Watt MBA doesn't count, even if the English sometimes put English subtitles on Scottish films.

    Dr. Bear,

What about the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey? (not to be confused with The Monterrey Institute for Graduate Studies).

El Tec de Monterrey, as normally called in Mexico, is accredited in the US by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers Masters degrees "online" in Business Administration, Information Technology and others in Spanish. So, are these the first non-English degrees to enjoy US Regional Accreditation?

    Regards,

Ah, yes, and as it happens I will be in Glasgow (where natives still speak in the original Klingon) next Tuesday. Many north of the border consider this subtitle nonsense a clear manifestation of low IQ.

My view is that providence sought to ensure some enlightened few would direct the Sassenachs. It is therefore no mere accident of geography, that the map of Britain resembles a reclining man, with Scotland where the head and brain would be, and the South East of England, the rump where one would do one's business.

I had to call the Glasgow Herald a couple of weeks ago to do some research, and an old gentleman answered the phone; I had a cold and a southern accent, he had a thick Scottish brogue, and neither of us could figure out what the hell the other one was saying.

    Cheers,
