I'm currently living and working in China and really want to finish my BA while abroad. I'm still paying off student loan debt from my AAS degree and am looking for schools that will accept reasonable monthly payments because I want to avoid taking out more student loans.

Can anyone recommend some schools that have affordable monthly payments, i.e. a few hundred dollars a month?

The only one I've noticed thus far is California Coast. Also I'm not concerned about NA or RA accreditation so long as it can be completed at a distance.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Allied American University has a BA degree in General Studies as well as BS degrees in CIS, Business Administration and Criminal Justice. They are nationally accredited by the DETC and accept monthly payments: Online College Courses & Degrees - Allied American University

Not a BA, but Penn Foster has BS degrees in Criminal Justice and Business Manangement. It is also nationally accredited by the DETC and accepts monthly payments: Penn Foster College - Associate and Bachelor's College Degrees

I have to go back to work, lunch break is over. However, I attended CCU and they have great customer service, and the coursework is rigorous as well.

    See ya,

Bellevue and Northcentral come to mind, as well as Ashworth on the NA side.

I think you will find a number of DETC schools have monthly payment options. A lot depends on what degree you wish to pursue.

I use Sallie Mae's Tuition Pay service to pay my tuition at UMUC. It allows you to pay the semester cost over the course of the semester on a monthly basis. The below link takes you to their enrollment page and you can see what schools they do this for in their search engine. Good luck!

P.S. The search engine includes schools that are not distance schools as well, so you will need to verify the school has a distance program you want first. Hope it helps!

Penn Foster College has monthly payments. Andrew Jackson University doesn't have monthly payments, but you can split up the payments each semester, and they are very reasonable. Both are NA.

You can try Western New Mexico University. RA and offers payment plan options.

University of Illinois also has a payment plan for all of their campuses. UI Springfield has a number of online degree programs that would be possible under this payment plan.
