Has anyone noticed the commercials called 'Test Drive College" or something similar? I overheard a rumor that it was sort type of prod by major universities to put the feelers out to see if going to college online would be a venture to get into (For those major universities who have yet to offer programs solely online). Has anyone heard this rumor, or is it just that, a rumor???
I think that Test Drive College is more of a way to get students sufficiently comfortable attending a school that they stick around as paying customers. I don't know where you heard that rumor, but their list of partner schools doesn't support that theory very well. -=Steve=-
Anyone know anything else about this program? They claim that the courses are free (I haven't delved into the fine print), after going through several steps to be admitted. They have five courses recommended by ACE for credit ACE CREDIT | The National Guide to College Credit for Workforce Training. 15 free credits? That would be amazing (for others, since it wouldn't get me closer to filling my reqs).
