PhD Public Safety (Criminal Justice)- Capella U

Hi everyone-

I was wondering if anyone has student or faculty experience with the listed program. There are very few distance/online Ph.D. programs in criminal justice, so this program may offer the best opportunity for doctoral study. I am hopeful someone can provide insight on the program's rigor, instructional quality, and student support.

DegreeInfo and several other sites post numerous student reviews on Capella, but few if any reference the School of Public Safety. I would also be interested to hear similar reviews about the PhD Business-CJ from Northcentral and/or the PhD Public Policy-CJ from Walden. Again, both schools have hundreds of general reviews, but rarely does anyone mention the CJ focused areas.

I am aware of NSU's new CJ doctoral program. Unfortunately, they offer only a fall cohort enrollment of 20 students and the enrollment deadline is too close for an applicationa package- still need to take that darn GRE.
