    Good Day All,

In a few months I'll move (Active Duty) to another location and will have an opportunity to complete a doctoral program. I won't have any distractions, other than work, so I'll be able to really focus on a program for about 3 years before I move again.

With that said, does anyone know of any condensed or accelerated programs that could be finished in 3 years or less? I don't mind a few residencies....Regional accreditation is a must as I plan to try and teach (adjunct/online adjunct) when I retire. Any program type will do (Ph.D, D.B.A. or Ed.D). I'll be using my GI Bill so it would be ideal to keep the price tag under $34K.

    All feedback is appreciated.

Liberty University--the classes are $250 per credit hour for military. That's hard to beat.

They offer EdD programs in educational leadership and in teaching and learning. Three residencies are required, plus the on-campus dissertation defense.

You could do it in three years if you take a heavy load. Courses (other than intensives) are 8 weeks long.

Theoretically, you can do any PhD, DBA, EdD program in 3 years or less, provided 1) the school is pretty good about letting you transfer credits from your masters, and 2) you are on the ball with your research/dissertation. I've known people who have finished in under 2 years.
