Hello, I am wondering if COSC, TESC, or Excelsior accepts AP exam credit? I've heard COSC does, but want to double check. Where would one take these exams? Cost? If anyone could advise it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt
I may be wrong but I think AP exams are taken in High School and can transfer to college. (i.e. AP History, AP Biology) I don't think you can take these exams unless you are a high school student.
That's what I am thinking, as I took the AP English exam in HS. However, I thought I would try to find more information just in case. I would've never thought you could earn a BA in 4 weeks, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to check.
Well, you may be able to use that AP Exam in English but if you are looking for other tests now to finish school, look into CLEP or Dantes tests or some schools offer their own tests to pass/skip a class.
This would appear to be the obvious conclusion, but looking at the faq on the College Board web site, there seems to be a possibility that exceptions are made for students who don't take AP classes, so maybe exceptions are also granted in some cases for those beyond high school age. It couldn't hurt to write and ask. In any case, the tests are apparently administered only in May.
PRAXIS FOR cOLLEGE CREDIT Hello, I think you can use the AP testing at TESC but haven't found the reference as of yet. An add on question. Has anyone used the Praxis at TESC for college credit? Thanks. Hille
AP TESTING Hello, I'm not sure where you live but here is a potential option. Burlington County College,Pemberton, NJ grants credits for AP testing. They have a relationship with TESC. My guess is if you converted your AP credits at BCC they would transfer to TESC. This is only a guess. Refer to pages 9 and 12 of the catalog. I discovered today that there is also an option to take departmental examinations. I am investigating which ones and how much. Have a peaceful evening. Hope this helped. Hille
