I am considering enrolling in TTU's History program. My main concerns are #1 The ability to transfer credits from a NA school to a RA one. I'm pretty sure Liberty would accept them, but am not sure about how a secular college would view them and #2 What RA grad schools would accept a NA undergrad if I wanted to get a Masters.

There are many RA schools out there that will transfer both NA credits and use NA degrees for graduate school. There have been many lists put on the board that gives us information on your question. There are limitations to NA transfer compared to RA but if you play it right the NA transfer should not be a problem.

    1) Don't go to grad school in history unless you like unemployment.

    2) If you are looking to attend graduate school (which you shouldn't--see point one), it is best to get a regionally accredited BA. Your options will be more limited with a non-RA degree.

I know a guy that works for Books-A-Million as a clerk - has a PhD in history. I asked why he was working at BAM and he said it beats asking people if they want fries with their meal. His desire is to teach history at any type school - but then, according to him, there are about 1,000 applicants for every teaching position that is announced.
