How is everyone doing? I applied to Sullivan University Ph.D program and found out that I was accepted today. I am truly excited to take the next step in my academic career. I must say Sullivan University staff is truly amazing and they have been there to answer all my questions in a timely and professional manner. (Dr. Pina and staff) I have been in the process of finding a R.A, Ph.D program for a long time. I was looking for a University were I would feel more as a student then just a number as I did feel in some other distance learning University's. Another factor that drawn me to Sullivan was it is a true Brick and Mortar University which was an enormous part of my decision. I will be starting in the on June 27, 2011. Some background on myself. Bachelor of Science Degree: New Jersey City University Cumulative grade point average: 3.82 Master's of Professional Studies in Criminal Justice Leadership: St. John’s University Cumulative grade point average: 3.92 Currently employed for a Law Enforcement agency for ten years. Thanks.
The Ph.D. admissions committee received three applications at the same time. Two applicants were not accepted into the program...you were. Congratulations.
We receive several promising applicants, but only a few meet the criteria of academics plus practical management experience. We are looking for advanced practitioners that we can help to become practitioner-scholars.
