Where can I go to take On-line Spanish courses at a good price? I know that various schools in the Southwestern US are offering these kinds of courses at an reasonable price (~$300 per semester), however, there must be lower prices from schools in some South or Central American countries, right? The schools needn't be accredited and needn't award a certificate or degree.

Books-A-Million; Barnes and Noble; Amazon.com to suggest a few if you don't need a certificate or credit for the courses.

Certificates and credit aren't too important, but having a teacher who can answer questions, grade homework, and set deadlines is.

I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the "bookstore" suggestion. Rosetta Stone is used by the State Department and the Peace Corps: Learn Spanish - Speak Spanish - Learn Spanish Software - Rosetta Stone
