Hi maybe you guys can help. I have a BGS degree. Overall I have maybe 180 undergrad hours. I have 18 hours from a MA ED. Hated the program washed out. Saw a Grad teaching certificate. It is like 24 hours I have 15 hours needed for this. Who knows what they will let me transfer. But the classes are the same. May be a low cost way to get in the classroom. But it is at APU I just do not know that much about them. Could I land a teaching job with this cert. Option 2 do a Master's from CSUDH in Humanities love the overall program. They may take up to 9 of my hours. It also has a community college teaching certificate you can get as well. Or option 3 get a master's or Phd from UNISA and try to teach overseas? I have heavy student loan debt need a real job. Work as a temp no future. Always wanted to teach History. But market is bad for teaching across the board k-12 community colleges adjucts no benefits. I am handicapped so even teaching ESL in Korea is out. It is mild but will pass medical once there. Any health issues it is a no go. Any ideas guys please help.
You might get a K-12 teaching job with a generic Bachelors and a teaching cert but that's all. BTW, they will also require a student teaching internship.
