Well, I have four assignments left for my MBA in Marketing and I have to say I am completely burnt out! I have to force myself to do anything and I am happy to “just get by” and would not care if I finish with a B average.

My focus in the future will be on executive education such as what I posted here – http://www.degreeinfo.com/distance-learning-discussions/38222-executive-education-programs.html

With the direction I want to go in the future, I need to move into a new realm and build more networking with business leaders; I guess what normally takes place at MBA / Executive MBA programs. Anyway, I submitted my paper work for tuition assistance for the University of Tampa program and will find out if they have any seats open in the class since it starts in June.

Has anyone taken any of these types of programs/classes (live or online)? Any suggestions for future topics or schools? I also plan to do the University of Florida Root Cause Analysis (RCA) course which 3 hours and $30. You can’t beat that! UF | Health Care Risk Management & Patient Safety

Well, just found out that University of Tampa is off the list for now. I will continue to look for these programs.

    I just did something I thought I wouldn't do for a while....apply for a DL program!

I applied for the graduate certificate in applied statistics at Penn State. Got an email from my employer that they reinstated tuition assitance, so I decided to give it a go. I figure the stats certificate will be handy for teaching gigs.

I was going to apply for the Texas A&M program. Classes start today, but they wouldn't let me register late. Also, tuition at A&M was a lot higher than I remembered (probably raised tuition like everywhere else.) So, decided to give the Penn State program a try. Classes don't start until August, so there is still a chance I might back out.

That certificate at PSUWC is almost $9k...before books. I'd hate to see what the tuition at TAMU was!

Okay...now I am jealous. I am looking at (gasp) an AS program. I started on my AS from Florida State College years ago and never completed it. I hate loss ends. I may just do it since I only need four classes.

Heh, I always thought if I were still in the area after finishing my doctorate that I might finish an AA in Music from Northern Virginia Community College. :)

Are you working on another doctorate? I was thinking about tackling a culinary arts AA after finishing the MBA myself :).

Yeah, although I haven't announced this, because it makes me look absurdly indecisive, I ended up not finding Memphis was the greatest fit after all, and switched to Northeastern instead:

No mocking will come from me, sounds like a good program. Good luck with it.

PSU charges $682 per credit. TAMU is around $530, but then they add all sorts of fees (Tech fee, Environmental Fee, ID card fee, Library access fee, etc) and the price jumps to about $750 per credit.
