So I'm back on the hunt again...

I was enrolled in a Master of Arts in Teaching program to pursue alternative licensure, but I have accepted a job offer that will keep me in higher education. As such, it is no longer necessary to continue with the second master's. The semester was worth it, as the energy and time devoted to the program gave the me the leverage needed to obtain this position.

I'm in the market for further credentials in education, however, and I would be interested in an Ed.S, Ed.D, or PhD. program either in adult education, higher education, educational leadership, Christian education, or something appropriate for non-traditional higher education. The right kind of nonprofit/business/leadership program could also work.

I am very comfortable with programs based in Christian universities. Both my degrees come from regionally accredited faith-based schools (the B.A. in Ministry), and my work experience includes two churches, a hospital pastoral care department, and a Christian university, among other things. I'm not worried about being type-cast; that ship has already sailed. I know that my credentials aren't going to land me in a secular university, so I have no problem bolstering my faith-based credentials. I'm at the point of having to "dance with the one who brought me," anyway.

I only have a few requirements:

    1) Regional accreditation
    2) Non-profit
    3) Reasonably priced--doesn't have to be "cheap," but I don't want to blow $60k on it either.
    4) Available via distance education (residencies are ok)

Does anything come to mind, oh Illustrious DegreeInfo members?

Liberty is at the top of my short list because I am familiar with them. (I earned my M.A. from Liberty.)

    Any other suggestions?
