    Hello,
I am new to the site and needed help. I have just completed my BA in Economics degree from California State University Sacramento. After much search I have decided to go DL for my masters degree. I am currently working for a public service agency and wanted to know what would be my best route.
    1. Masters of Arts in Management and Leadership-Liberty University
    2. Masters of Science in Emergency and Disaster Management- Trident University International.

Please help in choosing best option.

It seems to me, Liberty will be the more versatile of the two. Both are good schools. Your future goals, etc. must be considered too.

MBA would be a good choice for me as well. However, i would have to take the graduate placement exams. I know there are many online universities offering the mba programs but most AACSB business programs require one to have the GMAT. I want to try a easier route first and thats why I picked the schools. Also I know TUI offers law enforcement discounts so the tuition is almost half of many graduate programs.

I took the GMAT many years ago and did not find it that difficult. I wouldn't let that stop me.

I don't think you will go wrong with either school. However, neither of those schools are AACSB. But, that doesn't mean they are below par.

I would not have a problem taking the GMAT. Just wanted to check my options before i get into it. I know that the schools are Not AACSB but the low tuition for both schools just makes it an easier route than that of entering via GMAT. Also I know that the Liberty University program is via their Business School. Tui however offers the Masters via their Health Science School which if I am not mistaken, does not qualify AACSB which would not be compared to a business school.

I don't mind taking the GMAT at all. I was just trying to pick the less extensive routes. I know that these schools are not AACSB. With that said I know liberty offers the program via Liberty University's Business College. However TUIU offers The MS in Emergency and Disaster Management via the college of Health Science and if I am not mistaken, does not compare apples to apples with a AACSB business program. With that said I am not really concerned about AACSB. I also researched Western New Mexico University's MA in Interdisciplinary Studies and the cost is just right if I take 6 credits a semester (under 8K for non-residents). They don't require a GRE if the undergrad GPA is above 3.0. But at the same time I don't know anything about the use of such a degree in the "REAL WORLD". I know that WNMU degree would be more solid in the marketplace because it is a state university compared to Liberty which is Semi-online and TUIU is completely online. And knowing I am going to stay in the Public Service Realm as a career I don't know how well the degree from Western New Mexico University will help me other then bragging rights.
