I need to take 1 or 2 English courses for an Elementary endorsement. Any English or Communications courses should be fine, and it can be from any RA school or community college, but I'd prefer something related to Elementary teaching, such as a course on children's literature. Do you know of any very affordable distance course?

Try Western New Mexico University's Writing Children's Literature - Sharman Russell is a fantastic teacher and the course is so very interesting.

UoP has a graduate continuing ed course in Children's Lit. It's RDG 516. I can't say anything about how good it is, though, because I've never taken it. I can only say that it exists.
