Antioch School offers two 60 credit hour DMin's. One is in Theology & Culture and the other in Global Church based theological education.

Total cost is 7,200 for the program (payment plan of 150 per month).

They are DETC accredited (ie nationally accredited).

I think that is about the most affordable accredited doctoral program I have seen.
Tennessee Temple's PhD in Leadership is very affordable at 15,000 for the program and I noticed that Liberty's U's EdD is if you are a veteran (approx 250 per credit hour).

Drawback is this is a relatively newly accredited program. The plus is cost and the doctorates do not appear (as far as I can tell) to require the 90 credit hour MDiv for admission (just a Masters degree). Of course, you also have to be interested in theology.

$7,200 is cheap... but I know that a person on this message board got his PhD in Theology (or something similar) from Pretoria for probably about half of that. I'd check that out if I were you.

Side note: Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development should not be confused with Antioch College or Antioch University.

Yes, there is no doubt that SA doctorates are probably some of the best academic bargains in terms of cost and academic reputation. You really have to want a doctorate because you love learning or it provides some sort of career advancement (eg in ministry or at a community college). My understanding is that the world of academia (full time professorship) is very hard to get into.
