Last year I posted about how they were beginning to proctor finals.

And now that seems to have run its course. In an email to students on March 2nd PSC announced no more proctoring of the final exams!

Personally, I didn't mind the proctoring process. It helped ensure my degree would be worth something.

I'm sure many people are turned off by having proctored exams (even if it is just one per class) so this will no longer be a barrier for people choosing Peru State College.

I don't mind taking a test with someone in the room, but the service that uses a webcam to watch me, my computer screen, and listen to my voice in my home is 110% OUT of the question. I would not allow any company to do that. It's my choice, and that IS my choice.

I agree with you recruiting. I have way to many important files to let some psycho, okay I wouldn't call psycho but you never know! to control my computer all the way from the other side of the world.

I totally agree - no one (NO ONE) is getting access with my permission to look through my computer! I have no problem with taking proctored exams; I have taken three proctored Masters exams and this is a school's choice. I have a friend that is attending a school that requires the computer monitored exam - he bought a cheap computer and uses it with nothing at all in the software but the necessities to run the computer and take the exam. Peru, good move!
