This was on NCU's Facebook page- thought I'd repost here. "For all those who are interested in moving on to a Masters degree after graduating from a nationally accredited institution - please be advised that Northcentral University accepts conferred degrees from both regionally and nationally accredited institutions as your basis for admissions. " Their website states only RA undergrad, so I wonder if this is new or an error? Anyone know?
This might make a few people happy. It'd be even better if their tuition was not calculated aboard ship in a science fiction movie.
I would assume the website is correct adn the facebook page was not updated. So would need an RA degree and a pulse.
LOL. Yeah. My husband's bachelor's degree is NA so I closely watch for RA MBA options....but it's a 20-grand option. I still wonder if it's a change or error. I'm going to ask.
I think they (doctoral granting online schools) all accept NA degrees. They just can't announce it on their websites (accreditation and image issues).
And this is based on what? If it is an accreditation issue would they run the risk of being caught during an audit? Would it be worth a few students to be shut down if they are caught? Why can others (RA Schools) opt to accept NA degrees and not face accreditation issues?
