Are ther any DL Institutions that are RA?

If so which one or ones are best?

Good Morning, I believe you are new to the forum as everyone once was. I suggest you read Bears Guide to narrow your search and ideas. If you are unable to purchase one, most libraries have the current issue. Distance learning has been totally rewarding for our family. It can be extremely frustrating also. The forum is a great guide. Good Luck in your journey. Hille

There are a number of RA institutiions that would be considered either exclusively DL or focused significantly on DL. Those that come to mind are Capella, Waldon, Touro (branch), Fielding, Union, and though not exclusively DL, Phoenix and Nova have significant resources devoted to DL.

Regardless of what this number of DL RA schools is, it might be more important to consider that there are hundreds of RA schools that are not known as DL schools that have fully DL degree programs. The suggestion that you look Bear's guide over is a good one. If you are interested in a specific degree program, you might ask about that and look for responses from the group on that particular focus.

Please consider the advice given thus far. Also, consider using the search function of this board; you'll find a rich history of commentary on a variety of schools and DL methodology.

It would also benefit you if you were a little more specific about your needs and situation. With hundreds of options and a myriad of methods, it is hard to pin down useful recommendations. What is a perfect solution for one person might turn out to be a disappointment for another.

    Good luck.

  5. Although we obviously can't list all the schools in Bears' Guide here, perhaps we should mention Jones International, which was the first completely DL university to get regional accreditation.

Mmmm, that's a good question. I don't think I've ever seen it asked here before! ;)

They say that the following are pretty good:
    1. Excelsior College
    2. Thomas Edison State College

There are a couple of others too, but I can't remember. Anyone else remember?
