I was wondering if anyone has experience with them? I'm just starting with them and so far they seem pretty good. The only thing is the administrative staff seems mediocre at best. I've been attributing this to the rapid growth they are experiencing but I'm curious to know what past students have to say about them.

I wasn't a student, but I used to be an instructor for them at their European military campus in Italy. I never heard any complaints from students and I didn't have any issues with them as an instructor. I have contacted their main campus several times for various items and had good experiences. I do agree their administrative staff isn't their strongest asset. They lost my retirement paperwork twice! If you can deal with some mediocre staff issues, but enjoy the other aspects it is worth it to muddle through. Good luck!

I wasn't a student there; but some of my Marines were. I intended to take several courses with them for Troy University while I was on active duty. However, I decided to take the CLEP exam instead. They had great experiences, and never complained about it. Well, I assumed they did not spend any money from their pocket. Therefore, I did not care much about the staffs; but at least they took care of the tuition assistance from DoD. Any reason why you consider Central Texas College over other well known universities?

Thanks for the info guys. Seems it should be an alright choice.
Tekman, I'm enrolled with them because they are a local college in my area (central Texas) so I can get resident tuition at a good rate and seeing as I can transfer the credit to any other school I might as well do my first two years with them and save some money. Also it makes the proctored exams much easier as I can take them right there on campus. Being a Texas resident all testing for state schools must be proctored by state law.

Fritzy - I would love to know more about your work experience with CTC europe. I have applied for a program manager position and have been offered a phone interview... I know that CTC is an established and accredited school, but I am skeptical because I am probably not the most qualified candidate for the position (I origanally sought an assistant position). I have a BS and relevant experience, but the job announcement states that a Masters is preferred. Also, glassdoor.com has some negative reviews from "previous employees" saying that the staff is unqualified, too autonomous, and unable to earn a promotion or pay raise without seniority. I am dying for the opportunity to travel, work full time, and serve the needs of troops getting a degree. I am hoping that in my excitement I dont ignore the warning signs of a potentially bad employer. I dont want to be "stuck" in another country without help. I also have heard that employees are responsible for their travel? ANY HELP you may have is welcome!!

also, sorry for positing on this thread if i was suppsed to start a new one, I made an account just to ask you this.
