Hello everyone, I am (probably) getting a masters, most likely from Western New Mexico University. Because they require a good GPA, I thought I would take one course from TESC to get the 4.0 from them. I know WNMU will look at all my graded courses, not just the TESC ones. However, my logic is that if they do look at the TESC GPA, they'll find something good there too. Is this a good idea, or am I wasting my time with the TESC course?
They are going to look at your overall GPA, not care about a few courses with good grades. The average for all of your classes needs to be whatever they state on their site which if i remember is 3.0? What is your current GPA and is it good enough? If not why not take a few cheap community college courses to bring it up?
I don't have a GPA now but I am working on a couple community college classes, which I am working really hard on and thus will probably ace. So you're saying it absolutely doesn't matter what your TESC grade is as long as you have a good overall grade? Is there any possibility employers would want to see a GPA from TESC?
Pretty sure to get into a Master's program you will need a GPA average aka grades that are assigned a points value. Do you have a complete Bachelors?
Yes, I'll need a GPA of 3.2. The question is do I need a GPA from TESC or will the GPA from my community college classes suffice? I'm still working on the bachelors. I plan to be done around December.
I was browsing through the forums and some one on here got accepted to Liberty University from a TESC bachelors with little to no GPA. But than again LU is different from WNMU. I think it's possible but on certain university's.. Hmm. Let me know how it goes though.
Thanks, I will, though hopefully some other people will chime in here so I won't be guessing in the dark.
