    Dear all.

I plan to be student in BBA ( first year ) in Assumption University of Bangna.

Actually I'am writting about a problem that I will meet during my scholarity in ABAC.

My family will help my only to pay for the intensive courses and for the first semester fees.
Then I will have to find the money for study by myself.

Something like 15000 thb per month (for second semester fees of 60000thb ) and 10000 bahts for food and student studio.

Now that registration time is coming I would like to make sure that I can find this money as a french tutor as part time job. ( i'am native from france and ever study to be interpreter in french language )

Did have anyone that can tell me if that is possioble to do or absolutely impossible.

    Thanks you a lot.

    David.

Hi somento, welcome to Degree Info. Are you asking if it would be possible to get a job as a French tutor, use that money to pay for your school and if you would make enough money to make it work? If so, I would say that would be a question that would depend on the availability of tutoring jobs in your area, your ability to acquire those jobs and on your skill level. It would be difficult for most people here to know the answer to those questions. To me, it doesn't seem like doing that occupation part time would generate enough money, but I have no experience in your location or in your field.

I'm hoping someone here can shed some more light on your question. My best wishes to your success.

David - Like surfdoctor, I don't know the answer to your question. Are there a lot of people in Thailand trying to learn French? I would put together a nice little brochure and send it off to all the high schools and colleges (to the French Dept.) and maybe that would generate some business. Also, there may be businesses in your area that having dealings with French companies and that might be another source of income for you. Also, there are online companies that do translations for people/companies and that might help too. Beyond that you may have to do what college students do all over the world. Get a non-skilled job doing things like waitressing, etc. in order to pay the bills.

These options that Kizmet suggested might earn the most money.

Thanks you a lot for your kind help

I really hope that I can make it.

Assumption University is the first international university of thailand and the study fees are of about 4000 euros for the first year.

Actually my problem is that the average salary in the country is of about 250/300 euros per month and that i need to generate someting like 625 euros up per month...

So I should take money from aboard thanks to online job because in europe and usa average salary is a lot higher than in Thailand so it could make it.

    What about online translations?

    Is it secured payment?

    How does it works?

    Thanks you again for everything.

Just a question: Tuition per semester in France, with most Universities public financed, is probably around 500 euros per semester. So 4000 euros would get you a) 2 semester at a Univ. in France b) a plane ticket to France c) probably 1-4 month living expenses, depending how low-cost you can keep your expenses. Plus, chances that you get a well paid job in Tailand afterwards might be higher if you have a European degree instead of the local University (just an assumption) - esp. considering that you will have a lot of explaining to do with some Tai degree if you ever go move back to Europe. Plus, if you work a few hours in France some student job, e.g. restaurant you might make 8-15 euros per hour, thus should allow you to make the average salary per month in Thailand by only working around one day per week.

"Why did you attend a university in Thailand?"
"Because I was living in Thailand."

    I don't think it's that weird.
