Oxford Graduate School* is now offering an online Masters in Organizational Leadership. has an optional residency component. Looks affordable ($9000 for program).
Online Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership | Oxford Graduate School

I have not looked at their site in some time so this was new to me.

*OGS is accredited by TRACS (recognized accreditor) and is located in TN. In other words, not THE Oxford.

Off Topic: I think they may have been the first TRACS accredited school to offer a PhD (DPhil). Their DPhil has a residential component.

    DPhil Degree Requirements :

72 credit hours of study which includes:

Seven week-long intensive residencies on campus (called "Core" sessions)
    Tutorial-style instruction via DIAL with 30, 60, 90, and 120 day assignments
    Additional requirements:

University of Oxford trip (an annual tradition since 1981)
Library of Congress trip (for reading and research)
Membership in the OGS Society of Scholars
    Successfully completing a doctoral dissertation
    Average completion time: 4 years

Tennessee Temple U has the other TRACS accredited PhD program that is affordable with a residency component and most of it completed at a distance. It looked very interesting.

I think the only other TRACS school with PhD programs is BJU but I do not believe they are distance learning.

I don't know, maybe this school is great, but the fact is that, for the rest of your life, you'll have to explain that "no, I have not graduated from THE OXFORD, but other one with the same name."

A lot of people would assume the school is a diploma mill jus tbecause of this, even though it is not.

LOL! Yes, the drawback would be having to explain that to wide eyes, "Not that Oxford". Looks like a great program (both MA and PhD). Decent cost. I am guessing by the architecture, degree titles and so on that the founder(s) were admirers of all things English but I probably would have chosen another name.

I agree having to explain that would get extremely annoying. For $9000 though it sounds like a good deal. Slight topic change, does THE Oxford actually have any distance masters?

The University of Oxford offers a few specialized programs online. One of these is the "Master of Studies in International Human Rights Law". It is not fully online; two summer residential sessions are required.

They also have some interesting "short residency" programs. One I have always been interested in is their MSc in Software Engineering Software Engineering at Oxford | The Software Engineering Programme. It is comprised of 10 courses, a final project, and a "small dissertation". The courses have an interesting set up.

    1) Assigned reading before the residential portion of the course.
    2) 1 week on campus full time (9-5) at Oxford.
    3) An assignment that you have until six weeks after your on campus week to finish.

Do that for each of the 10 courses, then finish the final project and the dissertation, and you get the MSc. They also have an English lit Masters that can be done with a combination of on campus and online work.
