I am busting my ..ya know, trying to find interesting, inexpensive classes that will fullfil my upper level humanities credits and exhasted my search I think! I am enrolled at TESC and they have nothing left in the above catergories except Philosophy of Religion. Any ideas on what this class might be like? Any ideas where I can look for one more class! My career aspiration is to teach possible at a Christian school. Its harder to find what to take than the classes themselves sometimes!!!!!!! Thanks!
There are several schools that let you take courses for credit without being registered at the school ... see this recent thread for some suggestions: http://www.degreeinfo.com/distance-learning-discussions/22037-la-carte-courses.html As for the philosophy of religion course, here's the syllabus at TESC: PHI-370-OL Since TESC is a nonsectarian institution it's fairly safe to say the course would approach the subject of philosophy of religion from a religious pluralism worldview (it says it takes a "multicultural perspective" in the write-up). As long as you remember that's the perspective YOU will need to adopt in the course too, then it would probably be interesting and valuable.

have you looked into seminary extension.. they are ace accredited and TESC accept numerous upper and lower level credits
I took the course and I enjoyed it. Quite a bit of writing but nothing too overwhelming. I took it as part of a full-time course load while working full time (military). Covers many different religions and what they all share and don't share.
