Accelerated Certificate Programs at UCI

Iam planning to enroll for ACP at UCi for International Business operations or International Finance.
Does any one have any idea if its worth it, would it add weight age to my resume for a job search?

If these courses compliment your degree(s) then I would think so, especially if you live in Southern California and you are seeking a job that does business internationally.

But for the cost of the UCI ACP you could pay for 2/3 of an MBA at some schools ("working on my MBA" might be a better resume enhancer than "working on my ACP").

 

I agree with Ian. Do you already have an MBA? If not, do you plan to get one? If you intend to get an MBA, I would do that first. If you already have an MBA, the certificate would be a good move.

 

Thanks for your inputs, I have already done my MBA from India,does it have good market value, I am hoping this will help me get a job since i have option of getting OPT if i complete 9 months in this accelerated programs.
Has anyone done any kind of ACP, just wanted to get some initial feedback about it.
