Troy University eCampus does not offer BS/BA in Accounting, but Liberty University does. To both of these schools weight the same reputation.

Peru State College also offers an online accounting degree. It's hard to beat PSC's low tuition price.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Let me take this one step further. What I am looking for is a school that I can complete a bachelors degree in accounting. The reason I was looking at Troy U. is because they offered proctored exams using the Proctor U which allows you to take proctored exams through your personal computer. This is the only way I can go to school because of my traveling that I do for business. I never know when I am going to be home and for how long. I went to China during the summer for a 4 day business trip and ended up staying 3 weeks.

    Any ideas?

I'm not sure I understand what you are looking for exactly. There have been several great options already in this thread. Are you looking for a program with no exams or unproctored exams?

I know there have been great options mentioned. I am looking for a school that offers proctored exams through a program called Proctor U. Proctor U is basically taking a test with a proctor though a web cam.

    AV8R,

I see you completed the Peru State College BS in accounting several years after your MBA. I’m just curious why you chose the 2nd BS route vs. perhaps the MAcc? Was it Peru’s low tuition?

Yes, the super-low tuition was a major factor for me. Nearly every MAcc program I looked at required so many accounting prerequisites I thought I might as well go ahead and earn a second BS in accounting.

Thanks so much for replying; the Peru, Wayne and Chadron State low-tuition is difficult to overcome. BTW, are you going to seek the CPA?

I'm really unsure at this point since my career interests have changed. Initially, that was the plan. I think I'm really more interested in finance. I dunno.
