I do not consider this a "site". I it is more like a page with an endless loop.

Yeah, that is annoying. Couldn't find anything on their accreditation. Are they anything other than state approved?

Hmmmmm. The current UNISA site is not too bad but the old UNISA site was a nightmare to navigate.

Yeah that website is pretty bad. If there is a lack of thought in their website design, then that directly reflects on the quality of the school IMO. What a nightmare to navigate. No useful information, rather than ended giber gaber and useless information.

I've seen that theme before on one of those free website templates sites.

  8. I just had a flashback to 1998. They try to hypnotize you with that spinning globe graphic so you don't notice how crappy the site is....

I like it. The animations are impressive, but not gaudy, the color scheme is attractive and simple and all of the links work. Not only that, but in perusing their site, you will never be distracted with such extraneous material as those useless faculty lists and degree requirements. Did you know that you could get a degree with them in "even lesser" than one year?

Some of my picks for most annoying DL website are:

    Louisiana Baptist University
Great school & great people, but it's obvious they are trying to make way too many things happen on their main page.

    Southwest University
Southwest University was/is the holy grail of bad websites. In posting the link to this thread I see that they have recently updated their main page, but click the "About Us" link or any of the others and you'll see the how bad it really was/is. The main page still looks like crap, but is a modest improvement (I'm being generous when I say that).

    Welcome to Lamar University

Something about Lamar University's website makes me want to have a seizure. As an epilleptic, I'm allowed to say that.

As a former epileptic, may I ask why the website makes you want to have a siezure?

So, epileptics want to have seizures, and can be cured? Well, make that two new things I learned today.

This is not a DL school, but the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) main site wins the prize for the most visually dull site.

The brightness and how "busy" the site is makes me start to go cross-eyed. Sort of like strobe lights at a concert. And to my knowledge MC epileptics cannot be cured. But some can control their seizures threw medication and lifestyle choices.

I had brain surgery for my epilepsy 24 years ago and have not had a single siezure since.

That's awesome Ted. I had seizures up until the age of 12 and haven't had one (to my knowledge) since. I'm 35 now. But I'm still very sensitive to flashing or crazy lighting.
