Hi, I'm in a situation where I'm deferring the acceptance of a job because of family issues, but will likely accept the position in about two years. When I do accept, I'll get a decent increase in salary if I have a master's degree in anything.

So I wanted to see what people thought were the best online options for a masters that can be done in 18 months, is relatively affordable (less than say, $15,000) and is from an accredited US or reputable foreign school (like the University of London).

The subjects I'd be most interested in are an MBA, Public Policy, International Development and Urban Policy. I'm getting overwhelmed by all the information I'm finding and thought I'd toss this out there to see if anyone had any recommendations of schools or places to look.

I don't know what state you're from. But here is the list of cheapest AACSB accredited MBA online. URL: Online MBA Rankings AACSB - Top Affordable Best Distance MBA | Ratings & Rankings | GetEducated.com

Your undergraduate GPA and GMAT score are also the factor as well.

Right now I am temporarily in Virginia but am a resident of New York State. I'll be moving to Africa next July.

I would look at schools in the New York state system, that would help keep costs below your price point as you'll receive in- state tuition rates.
