another "how to calculate GPA thread?"

so I'd like to apply to nursing school
they require a minimum of 2.7 GPA in Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology

my question,
what is 2.7 ?
is that a C+
a 77 ?

can somebody give a breakdown of equivalencies ?

I figure
4.0 = A = 90
3.0 = B = 80
2.5 = C = 75
2.0 = D = 60
1.0 = F = 59 and below

but that's just a guess
