I have a friend who is doing a respitory therapy associates program at Kaplan College, which is nationally accredited. Does anybody know of a regionally accredited bachelors degree program that can be completed online? The subject would have to be health care related.

    Thanks

Yeah, Kaplan University will take them, but she doesn't want to spend that kind of money anymore. The RT program she is doing is a hands on program in person. She wants to do her next online program for less money and an RA school.

The fact that a school is a member of the Higher Education Transfer Alliance does not guarantee they will accept NA credits. It only means that the school won't reject the credits solely because they are NA.

I was also interested in this. I have an AAS from Remington College in Electronics which is NA accredited. I'm looking to finish my BA online and don't care what the major is, as I'm already well into the IT field.

More like, "Excelsior College accepts NA credits".........on a case by case basis.

I thought you have to appeal after you are being accepted to the program.

Wow! I looked at Lamar's BAAS program once and didn't noticed tuition was that affordable.

I get the impression that the appeal thing has either gone away, or rarely done anymore. Thanks to the efforts of pioneers like Jamie Gauthier (thanks if you are reading this) contesting the NA RA policies at EC, the big three are becoming more familiar with NA accreditors. Plus, now that EC has been taking NA credits for a years now, they must have a good idea of what equals what as far as RA credits, and are starting to accumulate data on previous NA courses accepted.

    Abner :)
