OK, I'm going to try this another way. My advisor really pulled through for me, and now I have a little more flexibility in my choosings. However, I am still having a difficult time finding an appropriate course. I need a single 3 hour course for spring '11. This is the last class that I need to have coordinated so I can walk in May.

I want any kind of science course. Can be upper or lower. Needs to be in one of the following: Physics, Geology, Astronomy, Physical Science, Earth Science, Hydrology, you get the point. Also needs to be 100%DL. No real cost requirement at this point.

My preference is that it not have a lab component, but I'm approaching a time deadline, so I'll look at pretty much anything. It would be nice if I could find a condensed "University -----ology" that was a 1 semester overview of the selected material.

I'm really :banghead: on this one. Help, please.

    Thanks!

I would check either of these three colleges as I would bet that one of them would have something for you and I have attended all three and it was great.

    Southeast Community College
    Clovis Community College
Metropolitan community college Kansas city area

TESC has the Global Environmental Change it is a 6 credit 300 level science that is not to hard. I kind of enjoyed it went on my transcript as ENS-314. It covers some bio some earth science some environmental science some population control info and of course Global warming.

    CSUB has
    these online courses:

Geol 320 or Sci 360B: Hydrologic Systems

    Sci 360A: Energy and Technology

Here is the top level site:
    BS Enviro Res Management

You might try calling or do more searching. Tuition is reasonable as I recall.
I have the Hydrologic Systems course on my list of courses I would like to take someday.

Another course suggestion is Meteorology - one of the best courses I ever took and that I use this knowledge frequently.

I also took this course and enjoyed it. Since it can be lower level, TESC also has a physics course that I liked as well. I am sure there are better choices as far as ease of taking courses though although TESC has semesters starting every month.

Clovis Community College has a Gen Ed Chem Course. The teacher puts all notes and reading materials online (no book), and all labs are with common household materials.

Would Straighterline's Chemistry or Biology course be acceptable?

OMG please take physics 1 with me at Ocean. I'm sooooooo nervous. Wait, I mean, it'll be really fun! :) C'mon, all the cool kids are learning physics. We could be virtual study partners.
