I hope it's okay to post a new topic about this; I wanted to get it seen by as many as possible, as time is becoming a factor for me.

I'm looking for inexpensive, individual graduate-level writing/English courses, either correspondence or online, but prefer correspondence. Courses must have "Eng" or English prefix.

    Thanks!!

You might try looking at Western New Mexico University WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY to see if they allow people to just take classes. They do offer concentrations in English and Writing for their online Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Yes, Western New Mexico is probably your best bet. Also check out Adams State College . . .they have some ENG courses at the graduate level that are correspondence based. They also have some EDU classes at the graduate level. Also, you might want to look for colleges that over "mini-mesters" or classes that are 8 weeks insted of 16. National University offers these, but they are NOT cheap (around $1,500 a class). Good luck!

After doing a search, I can't find any grad writing/English courses cheaper than those at Adams State College.

I just finished my second grad-level print-based English course at Adams State College. I made an "A" in both courses. This will renew my teacher's certificate. I can also transfer these into National U.'s MFA in Creative Writing.
