Check out this YouTube video done by a Liberty U student (I think). Whether or not you agree with the worldview of Liberty University, you have to admit, it's a pretty slick music video.

They are having a student created video contest, the winner gets free tuition for a year. I was thinking about trying for it until I saw this one; I can't compete with this!

That is awesome. My brother, dad, and I were at the opening game at the new stadium and were wondering why the crowd was so pumped and why the guy was out on the field. I've been to 20+ college football games and the atmosphere there was just amazing.

As Michael said, you can question the worldview, but it's hard to argue with the message and quality of the education you receive.

    Thanks for the post Michael.

    Excelsior College of experiential knowledge,
Ever upward is the token slogan, chokin' up mileage,
Got a whip, see me ride, philosophical din,
CLEPin' epic Arts degree, but is it "of" it or "in?"

With my first two courses complete I am definitely fond of the school. The professors are humble, caring, and firm; I couldn't ask for anything more.

Great video.....but just out of curiousity, why does everyone feel like they have to put some sort of caveat in their posts about Liberty whenever it's discussed here. For example, "whether you agree with the worldview of Liberty?" I don't recall seeing the same when discussing other religious affiliated schools.

I had the privilege of touring the Liberty campus once and listening in on a lecture. The Liberty guys and gals have it together much better than many other schools I've seen.

Yes, thanks James. I'm aware of Mr. Falwell's history.

I don't agree with the world view of Brigham Young University, for example, but I don't feel the need to caveat the school when discussing them. They offer many great online courses, just like Liberty does. It's just a recurring theme I've noticed when discussing LU on this forum.

I'm not certain why you think my statement is a caveat, which, according to Webster, is a warning, caution or admonition. I made that statement to be polite to others who do not hold Christian views; I was acknowledging that some may be offended by the overt Christianity of the video. Although I feel very strongly about my beliefs, Degree Info is not the proper platform for discussing them.

I've never been to the campus, but I'm looking forward to doing a few in-person classes there this summer.

I'll be there as well. I'm taking 730 and possibly one other course.
